Albert Golembeski, Jr.
Al Golembeski joined LFC Capital in 2009 from Banc of America Leasing and Capital, following more than 20 years in equipment finance.
At Bank of America, Mr. Golembeski was Senior Vice President in Portfolio Program Management, responsible for booking, servicing and managing large lease portfolios. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President and Manager of Business Banking Leasing, where he oversaw growth in new business volume by 40 percent per year with a 50 percent increase in productivity.
Earlier, Mr. Golembeski was Senior Vice President and Business Manager of the Small Ticket Leasing Business at Fleet Capital Leasing, where he grew the business at a 25% annual rate to $900 million in assets, while boosting productivity by more than 35 percent annually. He was the Integration Manager following the merger of Fleet Capital Leasing with Bank of America Business Banking.
Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President at Sanwa Business Credit Corporation, where he held a series of responsibilities, including Director of Strategy–Global Vendor Finance, manager of industrial finance, corporate credit training, product development, and private placements and syndications. He began his career at Continental Illinois Leasing Corporation, where he had assignments in credit, pricing, and marketing. He subsequently taught credit training programs.
Mr. Golembeski received a BS degree in Mathematics magna cum laude from the University of Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
