Martin E. Zimmerman

Chairman and CEO

Martin Zimmerman started one of the first companies to specialize in healthcare equipment leasing in 1967. In 1975, he founded LINC, which became one of the largest leasing companies in the healthcare field. He organized LFC Capital in 1994 and acquired LINC’s $250 million healthcare leasing portfolio when the company went public in 1997.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1959, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business in 1961, where he is a member of the School’s Board of Overseers.

Mr. Zimmerman served for five years as a Trustee of Ravenswood Hospital Medical Center in Chicago, where he chaired the Finance Committee, and has been a Director of the Equipment Leasing Association.

Albert W. Golembeski

Senior Vice President, Credit and Operations

Al Golembeski, a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in equipment finance, joined LFC Capital in 2009 from Banc of America Leasing and Capital. At Bank of America, Al was Senior Vice President in Portfolio Program Management, responsible for improving the booking, servicing, and reporting associated with large lease portfolios. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President and Manager of Business Banking Leasing, an integrated program targeting Bank of America clients, which increased new business volume by almost 40% per year with a 50% increase in productivity.

Earlier, Al was at Fleet Capital Leasing as Senior Vice President and Business Manager of the Small Ticket Leasing Business, where he grew the business at a 25% annual rate to $900 million in assets, while boosting productivity by over 35% annually. He also served as Integration Manager for the Fleet Capital Leasing and Bank of America Business Banking businesses.

Prior to Fleet, Al was Senior Vice President at Sanwa Business Credit Corporation, where he had a series of responsibilities including Director of Strategy-Global Vendor Finance, Strategic Planning Manager, Manager of Industrial Finance, Corporate Credit Training Manager, Product Development Manager-Vendor Finance, and Private Placement and Syndications Manager. Al started his business career at Continental Illinois Leasing Corporation in credit, pricing, and marketing positions. He subsequently taught credit training programs.

Al received his BS degree in Mathematics, Magna Cum Laude, from University of Lowell, Lowell, Massachusetts, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Stanley S. Fishbein

Managing Director, New York Office

Stanley S. Fishbein, JD, LLM (Tax) is Managing Director of LFC Capital, Inc., based in New York. A tax attorney and former investment banker, Mr. Fishbein brings a wealth of experience to his position, and is an expert in equipment leasing and term finance.

Prior to joining LFC, Mr. Fishbein was president of CapQuest Group, LLC, where he provided lease and term debt financing to help businesses, non-profit institutions and commercial property owners finance a diversity of assets, including technology acquisitions, and renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. His expertise includes specialized financing for acute care and long-term care providers, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes, having provided revolving lines of credit, mortgages, and capital leases.

Mr. Fishbein has held management positions in investment banking, commercial banking and finance with ABN-AMRO Bank, Citibank, and Textron Financial Corporation. He also served as president of Chrysler Capital Fund Management Corporation.

Mr. Fishbein received his BBA in accounting from The University of Massachusetts in Amherst, his JD degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, and his LLM in taxation from Boston University School of Law. After being admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, he began his professional career in the tax department of the accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co.

Mr. Fishbein is also vice president and board member of the New York Solar Energy Society, a chapter of the American Solar Energy Society.

Chris Ralston

Managing Director, San Francisco Office

Chris Ralston, based in San Francisco, brings over 15 years of financing experience to healthcare providers and select growth companies in the Western United States. His expertise in applying proven financing techniques to highly specialized medical markets and growth companies complements LFC Capital’s consultative approach to providing leasing and asset-based finance.

Before joining LFC Capital, Mr. Ralston was Western Regional Manager for Marcap Corporation in Chicago, focusing on a new healthcare market area, which became the company’s largest and best performing. Prior to that, he served as Western Regional Manager for Business Development for Wells Fargo Financial in Des Moines, Iowa, where he created custom vendor agreements and trained staff. Earlier, he was Western Regional Manager for DVI Corporation, where he was a top performer.

Earlier in his career, Ralston was an account executive at Dean Witter, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, where he ranked in the top 10% of new brokers. Mr. Ralston received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Ted Forbes

Director, Northeast Sales

Ted Forbes heads up sales in the Northeast U.S. for LFC Capital, based in Boston. Before joining LFC, he held marketing positions with The LINC Group and successor companies, including LINC Anthem, Newcourt and CIT. Prior to that, he was a Lease Finance Specialist for Picker Finance, an affiliate of Picker International, now Philips Medical Systems. Mr. Forbes launched his career at the Harleco Division of American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Mr. Forbes is a graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps.
